Your store is losing money in the gaps.

Cars sitting unlisted. Calls nobody answered. Leads gone cold on day five. We build the systems that close those gaps, and we measure them against your operating numbers.

The gap is not in the software.
It is in the handoff between departments.

System patterns, written down, from inventory intake to management visibility.

Approval1

Queue where a person signs off on anything that becomes a promise to a customer.

Audit4 min

To the one workflow worth fixing first in your store. Not a software list.

01 / The operating thesis

Work leaks in the handoffs, not inside the tools.

A vehicle finishes make-ready. A call goes unanswered. A lead ages. A manager waits on a report. Every one of those is an something that happens in the store, and every one of them should start a chain of work that somebody owns.

Before we automate anything, we map how the work actually flows: what starts it, where the facts live, who decides, who signs off, and which number proves it worked.

Then we write it down, so your store can run the system without depending on any one person. Including us.

02 / The chain

Nothing acts on a customer promise without the facts and an owner.

Your staff do not need a lecture about AI. They need to know where the facts came from, what the system may do on its own, when a person steps in, and how the result reached the customer.

01

Trigger

Slack message, missed call, new lead, new RO, sold unit, age threshold, review, form or manager request.

02

Source

DMS, CRM, inventory feed, website, phone platform, approved documents, analytics and dealer-maintained data.

03

Match

Resolve the customer, VIN, stock number, rooftop, campaign and event before acting.

04

Rules

Apply consent, price, offer, brand, OEM, privacy, role and channel constraints.

05

Work

Generate, classify, score, summarize, compare or answer from an approved source.

06 / Human

Approval

Show a person the facts, exception and consequence only when judgment is required.

07

Action

Publish, schedule, write back, create a task, book an appointment or update a dashboard.

08

Measure

Connect the trigger to the appointment, RO, sale, gross, time saved or prevented error.

03 / Signature build

One photo drop can put every approved channel in motion.

A car is ready. Someone drops five photos in Slack. The system matches the VIN, checks the facts against the DMS, and builds every listing, ad and post for the channel it belongs to, then puts one approval card in front of a person.

Factual conflicts stop the run. Sold units trigger cleanup.

04 / Systems by owner

Four departments where work goes missing.

Twenty-three documented patterns, grouped by the manager who owns the number they move.

05 / Results

Results, with the measurement attached.

Real engagements, names removed. Each one names what was built, what moved, and how it was measured, including the ones where nothing was proven.

Fixed opsCase 01
+600

additional labor hours sold each month

Customers answered structured questions while booking. Their symptoms, warning lights and supporting detail reached the technician before the vehicle entered the bay.

Our role: Built the pre-arrival capture and the advisor handoff, and measured it with the stores.Directly measured
SchedulingCase 02
80→800

online appointments per month

A 28-step booking path became five steps for new customers and three to four for returning customers, connected to the store's mobile service operation.

Our role: Built the scheduling consolidation across the two-year window.Directly measured
ManagementCase 03
$80k

missed monthly net profit surfaced

The system found that payments were being processed before repair orders were closed, a process question management had not thought to ask.

Our role: Built the cross-system reporting that surfaced the gap.Directly measured

The cases we keep on the page anyway

Three engagements where automation proved nothing.

−$73.3M

A national group backed a DMS replacement. The pilot slipped about a year and the quarter carried the loss. Not our build. Scale does not remove implementation risk.

0

A global group deployed voice across sales and service, then published no volume, no lift, no hours, no dollars. A deployment is not a result.

0.1%

A retailer documented about $5M in annual AI savings, roughly one-tenth of one percent of SG&A. Scale and materiality belong in the same sentence.

06 / The builder

“I know the real aspects of the industry, and I know how to give a dealership exactly what it needs.”

Joshua Hill started in automotive with Daimler-Benz, Chrysler and Ford. He moved into marketing and professional writing, then earned advanced degrees in computer science.

That combination is the point. A build has to understand the car, the department, the handoff, the promise made to the customer, and the number that proves the work changed something.

01The store owns the process.
02Facts come from a named source.
03A human approves real promises.
04Proof reaches the operating result.
